THE ORIGINS


The MYARD-RAOULT Architecture and Urban Planning Studio was founded on 1 Jan. 1998.

It continues the tradition of the ATELIER J-P. MYARD ARCHITECTES, the origins of which go back to 1972.
To its Clients, both public and private, the Studio offers 30 years of experience in all the areas of architecture and urban planning.
Since 1978, our Studio specializes in the design of large-scale retail projects.
Currently, we are in the process of expanding our activity through multifunctional urban-planning projects within the scope of city centers' transformation and post-industrial areas development.
From the early 1990's, m+r architectes expanded its activity beyond France, first to the south of Europe, and then to Central and Eastern Europe, where a permanent office was opened in Warsaw, Poland (blue architektura).
Since September 2000, m+r architectes is a member of C.N.C.C. (Conseil National des Centres Commerciaux - the National Council of Shopping Centers) and regularly participates in the fairs and meetings initiatedby this institution.
In February 2007, m+r architects has began to develop an AVP (pre-design) department, an asset valuation tool at the service of companies having extensive real properties to manage.
In January 2009, Jean-Paul MYARD retired and relinquished the company. This was one of the events that triggered the constitution of the m+r groupe. Today, m+r architectes is owned by the m+r groupe and by Pierre-Paul RAOULT.
